North Dakota Cancer Coalition Kicks Off Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

The North Dakota Cancer Coalition Executive Team is excited to kick-off Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month by sporting blue attire to remind you to #TurnNDBlue this March and help us increase awareness of CRC prevention, screening and early detection! (We even have a mascot—Georgia!!!)

Each week in the month of March, our e-news will focus on a different aspect of colorectal cancer. Look for guideline updates, screening option review, patient stories, resources and more!

REMEMBER: Dress Blue Friday is this Friday, March 4, 2022! A customizable poster has been prepared for you to download, add your organization’s information and post to encourage your staff to #TurnNDBlue on 3/4/22! Click here to download the poster.

Dress Blue Friday would be a great day to capture a photo of your staff for the #TurnNDBlue Photo Contest sponsored by the Coalition. However, you have the entire month of March to organize your team for a photo op. Click here for contest details.

You can access other CRC awareness month and educational resources on the NDCC website.

Join us in March to make a BIG BLUE SPLASH to raise awareness about CRC prevention, screening and early detection and help put North Dakota on the path to achieving a CRC screening rate of 80% in every community across the state.
